Starting at the Doune Information and Heritage Centre drive north on A84 to Callander.

Continue on to Strathyre and through to Lochearnhead. This is the start of the beautiful Loch Earn. Drive along the shores of Loch Earn until it joins the A85 road to Comrie. Comrie sits on the fault line separating the lowlands from the highlands.

Take the B827 to Braco and pause at the Roman Ardoch fort. Follow the B8033 to Dunblane, perhaps stopping to see the Cathedral. Lastly take the A820 to Doune.
