Doune Chic first opened its doors on 24 October 2015. The shop is run by mother and daughter Sue Sedgwick and Stacey Campbell.

Are you interested in finding out about the Rotary Club, who they are and what they do?  The Rotary Club of Callander and West Perthshire will be holding a public meeting on Tuesday 13th October 2015 in the Woodside Hotel, Doune, at 6.30pm for 7.00pm.

The nights are fair drawin’ in, the weather is cooling & most of the harvest is gathered in, so it must be time for the Autumn Quizz at the Rural Hall, in aid of the Rural Hall funds.

Plans for the Kilmadock Development Trust (KDT) to sell the old bakery and garages on Castlehill to make way for a new Co-op grocery store have caused shock and widespread opposition across the community.  Over 350 letters of opposition have been sent to Stirling Council and a dedicated Facebook page set up.
